Housing for Incoming Student
Evanston Campus
Students who wish to obtain housing on campus should write to Graduate Housing, 1915 Maple Avenue, Evanston, Illinois 60201-3194, and request a housing application. Visit their Web site to see more information about housing options, such as Engelhart Hall, McManus Living and Learning Center, and Seabury:

Additional Off-Campus Options
The Off-Campus Housing office (part of the Division of Student Affairs), can help graduate students find housing in privately owned buildings. Students may rent furnished rooms in private homes; studio apartments; one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments; and houses. Most apartments are unfurnished. The Off-Campus Housing office also maintains listings of furniture rental companies and posts information about apartments to share with other graduate students and work-exchange opportunities in which a student receives room and board in return for work. Please contact the Off-Campus Housing office at 847-491-8430 for assistance.
Some students rent apartments in Chicago and the neighboring suburbs. Since the campus is centrally located, public transportation is excellent. It is highly advisable for students who wish to rent apartments to visit the area and make living arrangements before beginning their graduate work.
