Research Statement

Overall research goal is to elucidate the relationship between structure, chemistry, and properties in electrochemically functional materials, as relevant to sustainable energy technologies. Currently advise or co-advise fourteen doctoral students, and three masters students. Thirty-three doctoral, eleven (terminal) masters/engineer, and multiple senior theses completed under my supervision. Courses taught include “Imperfections in Materials,” “Solid State Electrochemistry,” and “Sustainable Energy Engineering.”
