This was the third annual Safety Awareness Week organized by Research Safety Student Initiative (RSSI). Keynote speaker was Anna Invergo, a current Research Chemist at PPG, she obtained her Ph.D. from Northwestern in 2018. 

RSSI provides a student-led walkthrough, educating labs on safety concerns from a bottom-up perspective. They pride themselves on hosting summer ice cream socials that bring the Northwestern community together in a fun environment while also education on a topic of interest.  

Professor Benny Chan (The College of New Jersey) presented the NUBonD Faces of Science Seminar on 27-28 February 2020.

Dr. Lingling Mao (University of California, Santa Barbara) presented the lecture for the Excellence in Graduate Research Award on 4 March 2020.
