FAQs
How/where can I print my documents?
Printing to a copier is available to faculty, staff, graduate students and Post-docs. Speak with your research group's PA to learn where the closest printer/copier is and the procedures for printing to it. Often it is as simple as downloading specific driver software.
How do I connect to the Internet?
Wireless internet is available for mobile computing by using your NetID. See the NUIT Page for more details. Most rooms and offices have active Ethernet (hard lines) ports to connect laptops and desktop computers.
Who do I call with a computer hardware/software problem?
Contact the department's Senior Electronics Technician, Dave Barnard, for assistance. Or contact NUIT @ 1-HELP.
Who do I call about network trouble?
Call 611 to report network issues and outages.
I've got this old printer and some spent toner cartridges that I want to 'eCycle'. Who do I contact?
The university has various recycling and exchange programs. Visit the FM Recycling Pages for more information.
